The Macro-NIKKOR 65mm f/4.5 lens is a
dedicated macro lens, meaning it will not focus to infinity. Actually its
maximum focusing distance is about one foot on Nikon DSLR cameras.
When applicable I use this lens due to its extreme sharpness, working
distance and size. Focus-stackers will love this lens.

This is the largest image area able to be captured by a Nikon DSLR. You can just barely fit a soda can in horizontal orientation but a good fit if you switch to vertical. |
